A 1960s quilted Smoking Jacket or Dressing Gown, the black satin with scrolled pattern running through, the rolled collar with red satin trim, the robe has a matching belt, the interior with red satin plush lining, label reads: Abbeygate - 44" chest This was Eric's home coat. I remember Dad wearing this enjoying an evening cigar, a martini with an olive on a cocktail stick whilst watching television, usually an American comedy show.
